DI14 + EMA12; 0.60%-of-price SL; no TP; 6x ATR14 trailing from +1R; overnight/weekend holding. All maintained launchers use this management with their existing risk policies. This is the website default and all maintained BATs' selected Nasdaq management.
Precomputed MT5 evidence · Standard mode vs DI + Wide Stop + ATR
Precomputed Last 1 year — active recommended configuration
Available cached closed-balance curves are shown together; statistics and trades follow the selected mode. FTMO target comparisons are standalone tests, not guarded FTMO forecasts.
Metric basis: the headline return, profit factor, win rate and maximum drawdown come from this EA's native MT5 report for the selected saved mode. Sharpe (daily, annualised): Mean ÷ standard deviation of daily closed-trade returns × √365. Every calendar day in the window counts (no-trade days are 0%); no risk-free rate. Comparable across all EAs, the portfolio and the prop simulator. The MT5 report's own Sharpe for this run is 3.28 (platform-specific method, not comparable across EAs). Portfolio contribution figures are separately recalculated from net closed trades after period clipping, recorded costs and adaptive scaling, so they can differ without either figure being incorrect.
The graph, native MT5 statistics and trades are precomputed with this EA's exact recommended SET, so changing periods does not launch a tester job.

Implemented strategy logic
How the installed version actually works.
After the 09:30-09:35 New York M5 candle closes, this EA buys above EMA12 with +DI14 > -DI14, or sells below EMA12 with -DI14 > +DI14. The selected version uses a 0.60%-of-price initial stop, no take profit, and a 6x ATR trail starting at +1R. It may hold overnight and over weekends; Standard and Full Safe are archived comparisons, not current BAT settings. The dated Best Recommended installer applies 0.60% price stop / atr6 from +1r / no tp and does not add a research-session restriction. All maintained BATs now select DI + wide stop + ATR management, including claude_eas and Recommended Adaptive. The FTMO BAT preserves its separate risk guard; old FTMO forecasts have not been revalidated. Updating files does not alter attached MT5 charts.
Selected QL_ATR management uses the exact tested binary and settings. Native Model 4 windows end 2026-09-25 with 150 ms delay; real ticks begin January 2026, earlier ticks are generated. This is retrospective selection, not an untouched validation or an FTMO pass forecast.
Normal BAT risk policies are unchanged; Recommended Adaptive retains its 0.25x Nasdaq multiplier. FTMO uses its separate guarded $50 maximum planned stop risk, News OFF. Five-year standalone equity drawdown was 24.07% at 1% risk. Prior fixed-target FTMO pass estimates do not apply to this changed portfolio.
0.60% price stop / ATR6 from +1R / no TP
All day / native strategy window
No extra portfolio-wide session gate is imposed; the EA's native trading window still applies.
- 01
Wait for the opening candle to finish
The signal is evaluated only when the closed M5 candle is timestamped 09:30 New York, meaning entry occurs just after the 09:30-09:35 bar has completed. Weekends are rejected and New York DST is calculated automatically.
- 02
Require EMA and DI agreement
Buy above EMA12 only when +DI(14) exceeds -DI(14); sell below EMA12 only when -DI exceeds +DI. Indicators use the closed signal bar. Equality produces no entry.
- 03
Set the wider price stop
Initial stop distance is 0.60% of entry price, subject to broker stop constraints. This is price distance, not account risk. Ordinary launchers retain selected risk and upward lot rounding; actual risk can exceed the target.
- 04
Leave take profit unset
There is no fixed profit target. The old 2.5R target is disabled; a larger winner may continue while the protective stop tightens.
- 05
Trail with ATR after +1R
Once open profit reaches one original stop distance, the stop follows the running favorable extreme at six times current M5 ATR(14), never loosening. This is tick-driven ATR management, not the separate completed-M15 Dynamic 50/20 overlay. Break-even and MA trailing are off.
- 06
Allow overnight holding
The 15:55 close is disabled. One position at a time; an existing position suppresses the next daily signal. Overnight/weekend holding adds swap and gap risk. Stops cannot guarantee a cash loss cap. The Dynamic 50/20 overlay is disabled in this selected preset, so the EA retains its original stop and exit behavior.

Net P/L includes the exact commission and swap parsed from the MT5 Deals table. Pips/points are reconstructed from cached entry and exit prices using 1 pip = 10 broker points. Est. R uses the configured risk and reconstructed balance at entry because MT5 history does not retain the EA's original stop after trailing or break-even changes.

Limitations stay part of the product.
- !
Historical returns are not guaranteed and live execution can differ.
- !
Broker symbol names, spread, slippage and contract size affect results.
- !
The 2.5R exit was selected on the first two years and confirmed on the untouched final year. Historical performance is not a guarantee.
- !
No embedded Markov-gate version has been validated for this EA, so Full Safe installs it with the same locked native inputs as Standard mode.
