Precomputed MT5 evidence · Standard
The graph, native MT5 statistics and trades are precomputed with this EA's exact recommended SET, so changing periods does not launch a tester job.
Pips/points are reconstructed from cached entry and exit prices using 1 pip = 10 broker points. Est. R uses the configured risk and reconstructed balance at entry because MT5 history does not retain the EA's original stop after trailing or break-even changes.

Implemented strategy logic
This is the optimized active long-only close-to-open configuration. It reconstructs the New York cash session from M1 data, compares today's 16:00 close with the previous trading day's 16:00 close, and buys only when that return is negative. A separately saved conservative preset adds a 1% negative-day threshold, 3% emergency stop, 0.75R target and Dynamic 50/20 management, but the larger-sample current version remains the deployed recommendation. The dated Best Recommended installer applies current ea exits and does not add a research-session restriction.
Readable MQ5 source, the exact active USTEC preset, 40 Standard optimization tests, four native Safe validations and the untouched locked-year reports were reviewed, including exact US daylight-saving conversion.
Every BAT asks for risk before installation; the default and validated value is 1% of current equity to a stop 2% below entry. Weekend and overnight gaps can bypass that stop, so realized risk is not capped at exactly 1%. The separate conservative preset is research-only. Native validation showed that the Markov gate reduced the locked sample from 72 to 30 trades and the exact three-year return from 7.81% to 4.14%, so Full Safe deliberately preserves this EA's Standard inputs.
Current EA exits
All day / native strategy window
No extra portfolio-wide session gate is imposed; the EA's native trading window still applies.
The EA reads 09:30-15:59 New York M1 bars and requires at least 300 session bars. It also finds the prior trading day's 15:59 close.
The active definition is today's 16:00 cash close below the previous trading day's close. Threshold is 0%, so any strictly negative return qualifies.
One long may be opened during the ten-minute window beginning at the cash close. The active SET explicitly fixes the entry at 16:00 New York; Friday entries are allowed and may be held through the weekend.
The protective stop is 2% below entry price. There is no take profit; the position remains exposed to overnight gaps.
A position from an earlier New York date is closed beginning at 09:29, with a 31-minute permitted exit window.
Lot size targets the risk selected by the BAT, defaulting to the validated 1% of current equity against the 2% emergency stop. Broker-to-UTC offset and exact modern New York DST rules are resolved automatically in live trading. The Dynamic 50/20 overlay is disabled in this selected preset, so the EA retains its original stop and exit behavior.
Before you buy
Historical returns are not guaranteed and live execution can differ.
Broker symbol names, spread, slippage and contract size affect results.
The conservative 0.75R alternative achieved PF 3.36 and 0.88% drawdown, but only 26 locked-year trades and +4.14% return. The active version is retained because it produced +8.67% across 72 trades; neither result guarantees future performance.
The embedded Markov gate was natively validated and rejected for deployment because it materially reduced return and sample size. Full Safe therefore preserves the stronger Standard inputs for this EA.
