Implemented strategy logic
This optimized XAUUSD H4 build converts the Wave 1, Wave 2 and Wave 3 continuation idea into objective rules. It waits for confirmed alternating pivots, validates the Wave 2 retracement, aligns direction with a sloping 50 EMA, and enters only after a completed breakout candle clears the Wave 1 extreme. The dated Best Recommended installer applies fixed 3r / no trailing and does not add a research-session restriction.
Readable MQ5 source, the exact optimized SET, 329 native MT5 reports and the 10,000-path locked-trade Monte Carlo audit were reviewed together.
Every BAT asks for the desired risk before installation; the default and validated value is 1% of current equity per trade. The untouched year contains only 24 trades, so this remains a cautious demo-forward candidate despite its positive Monte Carlo downside.
Fixed 3R / no trailing
All day / native strategy window
No extra portfolio-wide session gate is imposed; the EA's native trading window still applies.
A swing is accepted only after three completed candles exist on both sides of the candidate high or low. The EA then requires the most recent three confirmed pivots to alternate as low-high-low for a long or high-low-high for a short.
Wave 1 must measure between 1.50 and 10.00 H4 ATR. Wave 2 must retrace between 38.2% and 78.6% of Wave 1 and may not cross the Wave 1 origin, which supplies an objective invalidation rule.
Long setups require the completed signal close above the 50 EMA with the average rising over the previous three H4 bars. Shorts require the inverse relationship, while the unused EMA-stack and higher-timeframe alternatives remain disabled.
The completed signal candle must close at least 0.05 ATR beyond the Wave 1 extreme and its real body must measure at least 0.15 ATR. The live spread must remain at or below 0.15 ATR before an order can be submitted.
The protective stop is placed beyond the completed breakout candle with a 0.10 ATR buffer and is rejected if wider than five ATR. OrderCalcProfit sizes the trade from current equity; every BAT asks for risk, and the default and validated value is 1%.
Take profit is three times the original entry-to-stop distance. Break-even, ATR trailing, Dynamic 50/20, maximum-holding exits and session restrictions are disabled, preserving the exact exit behavior used in the untouched locked-year validation. The Dynamic 50/20 overlay is disabled in this selected preset, so the EA retains its original stop and exit behavior.

Only 24 locked-year trades occurred. The 10,000-path bootstrap return P5 was +8.47% with 6.03% P95 drawdown; this remains historical evidence rather than a guarantee of future performance.
No embedded Markov-gate version has been validated for this EA, so Full Safe installs it with the same locked native inputs as Standard mode.
