Metric basis: the headline return, profit factor, win rate and maximum drawdown come from this EA's native MT5 report for the selected saved mode. Sharpe (daily, annualised): Mean ÷ standard deviation of daily closed-trade returns × √365. Every calendar day in the window counts (no-trade days are 0%); no risk-free rate. Comparable across all EAs, the portfolio and the prop simulator. Portfolio contribution figures are separately recalculated from net closed trades after period clipping, recorded costs and adaptive scaling, so they can differ without either figure being incorrect.
The graph, native MT5 statistics and trades are precomputed with this EA's exact recommended SET, so changing periods does not launch a tester job.

How the installed version actually works.
Follows established XAUUSD H4 uptrends, waits for a pullback into the 20 EMA area, and requires completed-candle continuation confirmation. All maintained normal and FTMO BATs now target 0.6R. The five-bar structural stop is unchanged; the retained break-even threshold at +1R normally lies beyond this target. The dated Best Recommended installer applies fixed 0.6r / be threshold retained at 1r and does not add a research-session restriction. Final user selection: Added ADX/DI filter removed; exact native-tested baseline restored. Existing unrelated filters, risk and exits retained. Retrospective evidence, not independent validation.
Final user-selected configuration reuses the exact native-tested binary and inputs. USDJPY alone keeps the added ADX/DI filter; current standalone 1y/3y/5y evidence follows the chosen period, not independent forward validation. Historical source note: User-selected target-only release, 2 October 2026. Native 6m/1y/3y/5y sensitivity evidence; not a fresh untouched validation. Five-year PF is 1.156, below the 1.20 strict screen.
Normal BATs use selected risk (default nominal 1% equity), with ceil/minimum-lot override that can exceed it. FTMO retains its separate fixed $50 admission guard. Displayed standalone tests are not guarded FTMO results. Long-only; may remain inactive in bearish/non-trending conditions. Confirm the established H4 uptrend
The completed signal candle must close above the 50 EMA, the 20 EMA must be above the 50 EMA, and the 50 EMA must be higher than it was three H4 bars earlier. Shorts are disabled in the promoted XAUUSD preset.

Require genuine multi-bar momentum
The close must be at least 0.50 ATR above the close from twenty-four H4 bars earlier. Signal bodies smaller than 0.05 ATR and total candle ranges larger than 2.50 ATR are rejected.

Wait for the pullback to value
The completed H4 signal candle must touch the 20 EMA within a tolerance of 0.25 ATR. The range-leadership filter is disabled, so the EA does not require price to finish in a fixed percentile of its 48-bar range.

Accept objective bullish confirmation
The optimized preset uses the EA's any-confirmation mode: a bullish body, bullish engulfing pattern or bullish pin-bar can confirm that the pullback is attempting to resume upward.

Place the structural stop and size from chosen risk
The stop goes below the lowest low of the latest five completed H4 candles with a 0.10 ATR buffer. OrderCalcProfit measures the one-lot loss to that stop, and volume is rounded up to the broker step from the risk selected when the BAT starts. The default and validated value is 1% of current equity; the broker minimum lot is used when necessary, even if that exceeds the target.

Take the 0.6R base hit
Take profit is 0.6 times the original stop distance in both normal and FTMO presets. Break-even remains configured at +1R with +0.05R lock; target normally fills before that threshold. ATR trailing, Dynamic 50/20, maximum-hold exits, sessions and the experimental regime gate remain disabled. The Dynamic 50/20 overlay is disabled in this selected preset, so the EA retains its original stop and exit behavior.
