Implemented strategy logic
EMA3 combines trend alignment with a five-bar structure break. It waits for the completed H4 candle to close beyond the previous five bars while EMA 20, EMA 50 and a rising or falling EMA 200 agree with the direction. The selected exit was re-optimized with a locked year, an exact three-year MT5 run and Monte Carlo testing. The dated Best Recommended installer applies dynamic 60/20 only and does not add a research-session restriction.
The wrapper, shared strategy engine and active XAUUSD H4 preset were reviewed.
Dynamic risk chosen by the installer, default 1% of current equity, with the stop at the opposite five-bar extreme and a 1.7R target. Wide H4 structures produce smaller volume and gaps can exceed the planned loss.

No extra portfolio-wide session gate is imposed; the EA's native trading window still applies.
At every new H4 bar, the EA finds the highest high and lowest low of the five candles before the just-closed signal candle.
For a buy, EMA 20 must be above EMA 50, the signal close must be above EMA 200, and EMA 200 must be above its value six H4 bars earlier. A sell uses the exact inverse.
The just-closed H4 candle must finish above the five-bar high for a long or below the five-bar low for a short. A wick through the level without a closing break is insufficient.
The order is submitted at the first tick of the new H4 bar, provided there is no existing position or pending order for this EA and symbol.
Long stop loss is the five-bar low; short stop loss is the five-bar high. Take profit is 1.7 times the entry-to-stop distance.
Native R-trailing is disabled. After a newly completed M15 candle closes at least 60% of the original entry-to-target path, the stop moves to lock 20% of that path. Each trade is dynamically sized to the risk chosen by the BAT, defaulting to 1% of equity. Applied BAT overlay: on each newly completed M15 candle, a close at least 60% of the original entry-to-target path moves the stop to lock 20% of that path. Native R-trailing is disabled in this selected preset.
