Implemented strategy logic
The gold build waits for price to run a confirmed H1 swing against the dominant completed-D1 trend, reclaim that level with a directional candle, and then targets opposing H1 liquidity only when the available structural reward is acceptable. The dated Best Recommended installer applies dynamic 50/20 and does not add a research-session restriction.
Readable MQ5 source, exact locked XAUUSD preset and native development/locked MT5 reports were reviewed together.
Default deployment risks 1% of current equity. Dynamic Config can instead use an exact fixed USD amount for this EA. Spread must remain at or below 0.08 of H1 ATR; gaps and slippage can exceed planned risk.
Dynamic 50/20
After a completed M15 candle reaches 50% of the original path to target, the stop locks 20% of that path.

No extra portfolio-wide session gate is imposed; the EA's native trading window still applies.
The last completed D1 close must be above EMA20 with EMA20 above EMA50 and rising for longs, or below EMA20 with EMA20 below EMA50 and falling for shorts.
The EA searches the latest 32 completed H1 bars for a two-bars-left/two-bars-right confirmed low in an uptrend or high in a downtrend. The signal candle itself cannot define that swing.
The completed H1 signal candle must pierce the swing by 0.01 to 0.75 ATR(14), close back through the level and finish in the intended direction. The improved gold preset does not require a close through the entire prior candle.
For a long, the stop goes below the sweep candle low by 0.08 ATR; for a short it goes above the sweep high by the same buffer. Broker minimum stop and freeze distances are enforced.
The target is the highest high or lowest low among the preceding 32 completed H1 bars. The improved entry is rejected unless that target offers between 2R and 8R after the live spread-adjusted market entry.
The preset permits both directions, at most two entries per broker day and one open position for this symbol/magic. Any survivor is closed after 24 H1 bars. Applied BAT overlay: on each newly completed M15 candle, a close at least 50% of the original entry-to-target path moves the stop to lock 20% of that path. If the trade has no target, the original stop distance is used as the reference.
