Metric basis: the headline return, profit factor, win rate and maximum drawdown come from this EA's native MT5 report for the selected saved mode. Sharpe (daily, annualised): Mean ÷ standard deviation of daily closed-trade returns × √365. Every calendar day in the window counts (no-trade days are 0%); no risk-free rate. Comparable across all EAs, the portfolio and the prop simulator. The MT5 report's own Sharpe for this run is 4.27 (platform-specific method, not comparable across EAs). Portfolio contribution figures are separately recalculated from net closed trades after period clipping, recorded costs and adaptive scaling, so they can differ without either figure being incorrect.

The graph, native MT5 statistics and trades are precomputed with this EA's exact recommended SET, so changing periods does not launch a tester job.

Implemented strategy logic

How the installed version actually works.

The Best Recommended Dynamic London version requires both the 09:15-09:30 and 09:30-09:45 New York M15 candles to close bearish, then places a sell stop at the opening candle's low. It trades Monday through Friday without a fixed setup-range filter, keeps the pending order live for sixty minutes, uses a 2.5 ATR(14) stop and targets 3R. The older 450/1,000 Standard and 600/1,000 London Safe presets remain available on the comparison graph. Every portfolio BAT installs this standalone session as its own chart with atr 2.5 stop / fixed 3r / no trailing and a unique magic number. Its Dynamic London ATR-stop/3R preset is enabled by default in the Best Recommended portfolio.

Source-code verified

Readable MQ5 source, 73 native MT5 pipeline cases, the exact selected SET, untouched locked-year Every Tick evidence, three-year Every Tick context and a 10,000-path block-bootstrap audit were reviewed together.

Active risk model

Every BAT applies the user's selected equity-risk percentage; pressing Enter defaults to 1%. This sell-only setup can cluster with other US100 systems. Its cached 5Y Dynamic London result is +106.38%, PF 1.52, 41.42% wins and 17.87% drawdown across 268 trades; the latest six months are negative, so forward monitoring remains necessary.

Research session choice

09:30-15:55 New York / M15

No extra portfolio-wide session gate is imposed; the EA's native trading window still applies.

  1. 01

Anchor the setup to the Nasdaq cash open

The EA converts broker time to New York time with automatic US daylight-saving handling and observes the completed 09:30-09:45 New York M15 candle on USTEC.

  2. 02

    Require two completed bearish candles

The selected Dynamic London setup requires both the preceding 09:15-09:30 candle and the first 09:30-09:45 cash-session candle to close below their opens.

  3. 03

    Keep the dynamic setup broad

Entries are permitted Monday through Friday. Fixed minimum/maximum opening-candle range filters and the setup-high cancellation rule are disabled in this selected preset.

  4. 04

Place one sell stop below the setup

Immediately after the qualifying candle closes, the EA places one sell stop exactly at its low with no extra entry buffer. The pending order has sixty minutes to trigger and only one setup is allowed per New York trading day.

  5. 05

Scale the stop to current volatility

The protective stop is 2.5 times M15 ATR(14) above entry. OrderCalcProfit measures the broker-specific one-lot loss and the installer applies the user's selected equity-risk percentage, defaulting to 1%.

  6. 06

Hold for the fixed 3R objective

Take profit is three times the original ATR-based risk below entry. Break-even, trailing and Dynamic 50/20 are disabled; any surviving position is closed at 15:55 New York. The Dynamic 50/20 overlay is disabled in this selected preset, so the EA retains its original stop and exit behavior.

Net P/L includes the exact commission and swap parsed from the MT5 Deals table. Pips/points are reconstructed from cached entry and exit prices using 1 pip = 10 broker points. Est. R uses the configured risk and reconstructed balance at entry because MT5 history does not retain the EA's original stop after trailing or break-even changes.

Limitations stay part of the product.

  • !

Historical returns are not guaranteed and live execution can differ.

  • !

Broker symbol names, spread, slippage and contract size affect results.

  • !

The untouched year returned +7.07% with PF 1.14 over 73 trades, and the 10,000-path locked-trade Monte Carlo return P5 was -12.01%. Treat this as a demo-forward candidate rather than a proven live-capital edge.
